The System:
In horizontal boiler circuits in waste incineration plants and biomass power plants, the evaporators, superheaters, and economizers are optimally cleaned by so-called rapping devices.
In this process, pneumatic or mechanical rapping occurs on the floors of the horizontal collectors, providing an impulse to the vertically hanging heating surfaces, loosening the dirt from the pipes. And all this without the use of additional cleaning media such as steam, air, or water!
With our over 20 years of experience in optimizing existing rapping systems, we have been offering various proprietary rapping devices for 10 years.
Each system has its advantages and is individually adapted to the respective boiler and fuel, completely manufactured by us in Salzgitter, “Made in Germany”.
Pneumatic rapping device with individual knockers EKL
Each collector is knocked by its own impact cylinder, which can be individually controlled.
Pneumatic rapping device with rapping carriage PKL
One or two impact cylinders are mounted on an electrically driven rapping carriage, thus cleaning a complete area of the boiler’s horizontal circuit.
Mechanical rapping device MKL
A complete area of the boiler’s horizontal circuit is cleaned by several drop hammers arranged on a common rotating shaft. The shafts are each electrically driven. The impact energy depends on the weight of each individual drop hammer.
